My sister Joy always sends Ellie the cutest clothes. We got a package that included this beanie and leg warmers to match. I love getting to dress up a little girl.

Why a picture a day?
Project 365 is a way for me to express creativity, improve my photography skills, and at the same time keep a day to day journal of the small and simple things that I feel are important and interesting. I hope you enjoy!

WOW!!! This makes my simple paper journal look like it needs a major face lift!! I love the pictures! I have a Nikon d60 and I just love taking shots with it, what do you use? They seem very crisp and colorful. I started late on my 365 project too but I don't care and I don't think it matters, I also don't beat myself up if I don't put something down everyday. I just love the fact that I am continually writing and taking a picture of that day, maybe someday when I am all old, my kids will look back and think, "wow, mom really tried to make everyday special." Hopefully they will be sentimental in that way, or they might think I am a nut! Also I have noticed that with taking a picture everyday I start looking for creative stuff. Its a lot of fun and I am glad you are enjoying it too! My friends and I are getting together again by the end of the week I'll give you a call.

I love this picture, her eyes are amazing! I'm excited you're doing this. I started a photography blog too. I've been trying to get more into it and I figured until I can get established and get a website I'd do a blog!
