There is a story behind this picture. In college I had a roommate, Mary Anne, who taught me how to put on mascara. When one tube gets low, use your wand to mark the bottom. The tube that is marked is the empty tube. When you apply your mascara, use the empty tube to do a coat or two. Then use your full tube to thicken up the coat. It helps separate your lashes. Try it!

What! I lived with that girl for 1.5 years and she never taught me that!

K Melissa, now I'm doubting that it was her that taught me. Was it you Mary Anne?

except what i do is use the new mascara first, and then i do my eye shadow and then use the old mascara to cover up the eye shadow residue that got on my lashes. then i don't ruin my new mascara by getting eye shadow in it :)
